NEW YEAR’S EVE ELOPEMENT
Inspired by the fuss-free bride who loves a little sparkle and a whole lot of romance, this New Year’s Eve elopement dinner party was chalk full of detail and style. The drop dead sequin linen paired together with full, lush centerpieces served as the perfect, intimate dinner tablescape, while colorful confetti, sparkly top hats, and a macaron tower fit for the most posh of couples, celebrated the arrival of a new year. And love of course. It’s always about love. Photography by Jenna McKenzie. Flowers by Hey Gorgeous Events.
VALENTINE’S DAY WEDDING
Valentine’s Day will always remain one of my most favorite holidays, because a day based around all things love, is a winner in my books. And in being inspired by vintage pink hobnail tumblers my Mother so cherishes, the concept for this shoot was born. A simplified cake table display styled in front of an over sized vintage frame, the most romantic of bridal looks fit for a princess, cookie favors inspired by nostalgic conversation candy hearts, and all the pink the most girly girl could ever want, this shoot was all things soft and romantic. RUSTIC ELEGANCE WEDDING
In my mind, the best designs come from the marrying of two separate themes and in the case, it was bringing together the rustic environment of a ranch in Northern Michigan with unexpected elegant details. An elegant, lace-detailed cake sat atop a structure made out of vintage crates, a real life sized wish tree served as a place for guests to leave words of wisdom for the bride and groom, and a tablescape adorned with romantic blooms and a burlap overlay really created a one of a kind look. Here’s proof that high heels, tulle and barns go wonderfully together. Photography by Tonya Peterson. Flowers by Parsonage Events.
LITTLE BLACK DRESS BRIDAL SHOWER
Bridal Showers; these are the things girl’s dreams are made of. One of the most anticipated events aside from the wedding itself, bridal showers epitomize all things feminine, sweet and dare I even say sassy? That was the inspiration behind our LBD inspired bridal shower. Searching for chic, fabulous and fresh bridal shower ideas we threw all rustic and vintage notions to the wind. And in lieu of the traditional Sunday morning, English tea party themed get together we spiced things up a bit. Bright and fresh florals, a flirty LBD dress code and a pick your own hairpiece “Babe Bar” put a fresh new spin on celebrating the lucky bride to be. Photography by Amy Carroll.
